Silver Week 2026 Special Event: Exciting Block Festival

Held in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture, the "Silver Week 2026 Special Event 'Exciting Block Festival'" is themed around "block play" and can be enjoyed by a wide range of age groups, from children to adults. While exploring various types of blocks, participants can experience the joy of creating and playing through free imagination. A diverse lineup of programs is prepared—including giant blocks, a national competition for the wooden block toy "KAPLA®", games using large screens, small blocks, and educational toys—allowing participants to take on challenges in creating works and playing as they wish. By providing a place to share the joy of saying "I did it!" with family and friends, and through the fun of trial and error during play, the event aims to nurture children's creativity and thinking skills. Many hands-on interactive programs will also be held inside and outside the facility every day, allowing visitors to fully enjoy playtime at Angel Land Fukui during Silver Week.
