Held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the square in front of the Kuzuryu River Naruka Barrage, "Toast to the Kuzuryu River" is an event where you can savor the blessings of the Kuzuryu River. You can taste famed sake from three breweries in Eiheiji Town, fresh sweetfish (ayu) caught in the Kuzuryu River, and traditional leaf sushi (happa sushi). While listening to pleasant music, savoring local delicacies, and contemplating the rich nature of the Kuzuryu River, you can spend a special moment. At the event, a "3-Item Set" consisting of 1 sweetfish, 2 pieces of leaf sushi, and 3 brands of sake is offered for 2,000 yen (reservation required). Advance reservation is required to participate.
