About this event
Held in Oi Town, Fukui Prefecture, "JACK ROCK FES" is a music event led by the Wakasa High School Light Music Club. It will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at SEE SEA PARK. In this event, high school students handle everything from planning to management, aiming to create a new music culture in the region. At the inaugural event last year, high school students energized the community with their unique passion and energy, earning high acclaim from many visitors. For this 2nd edition, the goal is to provide visitors with a wonderful musical experience by realizing enhanced sound equipment and safety measures. From coordinating performers to promotional activities, high school students take the lead, demonstrating to peers of their generation the possibility that "we can move our community ourselves" and creating a space to feel the joy of nurturing a new culture together with local residents. A market (marche) is also scheduled to be held concurrently on the day.
