About this event
The 'Kofu Daisuki Festival' is a civic festival that began in 1989 (Heisei 1) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Kofu City's municipal organization and marks its 36th edition this year. It features parades by marching bands and children's portable shrines (mikoshi), alongside signature attractions such as 'Beat to Beat' and 'Kofu Daisuki Ondo'. Furthermore, there is a rich lineup of plans for the whole family to enjoy, including elaborate stage events, various hands-on experiences, and exhibition booths. In the spacious setting of Kose Sports Park, visitors can enjoy dancing the 'Kofu Daisuki Ondo' in yukata or dancing freely to upbeat taiko drum performances in 'Beat to Beat'. Craft workshops and gourmet food stalls are also available.
