NHK Public Recording "Minyo o Tazunete" (Visiting Folk Songs)

A public recording of NHK's popular program "Minyo o Tazunete" (Visiting Folk Songs) will be held at the Fuefuki City Schole Center. Centered on folk songs passed down in the region, this stage show offers an opportunity to enjoy numerous masterpiece songs performed by talented singers. Scheduled performers include vocalists Masako Kawasaki, Kikunori Muramatsu, Katsue Kyogoku, Koji Onoda, Kiyomi Ishikawa, and Akiyo Yajima; shamisen players Junnosuke Uehara and Nobuchika Miyoshi; Tsugaru shamisen player Shuntaro Tsubaki; shakuhachi and flute player Tatsuo Takamura; percussionists Fumiko Arai and Shinpei Tomita; hayashi chorus singers Miwa Nishida and Miwari Nishida; and host Chihiro Odagiri, announcer from NHK Kofu Broadcasting Station. Admission is free, but advance registration is required. In the event of high application numbers, a lottery will be held, and admission numbered tickets will be mailed to the winners.
