This is an event where you can learn about the history of flood disasters in the Kanagawa River area and the flood-control measures designed to protect the region from water hazards. Special vehicles related to disaster prevention and flood control will be on display, and visitors can actually sit in the driver's seat to take commemorative photos. A free hands-on corner with frankfurters and yo-yo balloon fishing is also available exclusively for the first 200 children of junior high school age or younger. Through this event, you can raise your awareness of disaster prevention while deepening your understanding of the region's history and flood control technology.
