Hayakawa Toddler Camp: Playing in the Clear River Stream!

About this event

This is a toddler camp event designed to foster children's rich sensibilities through experiences in nature. In the hot summer, children will try river play in a cool, clear stream and search for creatures living in the river. Additionally, they will harvest summer vegetables grown on a farm teeming with living creatures and try outdoor cooking. Since each family stays in an individually rented private cottage, even first-time campers can participate with peace of mind. Over two days of touching nature—touching plants and insects, camping, and outdoor cooking—the event promotes children's personal growth. While feeling the coldness and clarity of natural Southern Alps water and the river's flow, children use their five senses to notice diverse nature, aiming to foster understanding and a compassionate heart for lives different from their own.
