This tour allows you to view the mystical phenomenon known as 'Pearl Asama', which shines faintly like a pearl and can be seen only once or twice a year. This fantastical sight is created when the moon, around the time of a full moon, rests atop the summit of Mt. Asama. Compared to 'Diamond Asama', where the sun aligns with the peak, the chances to see Pearl Asama are extremely rare, making it a precious experience. This time, viewing of Pearl Asama shining over the silhouette of Mt. Asama is scheduled shortly after sunset. The tour also includes matcha green tea and moon-viewing dango dumplings, as well as bathing in the hot springs at Takamine Kogen Hotel (while taking in the night view) after the climb. An experienced guide will lead you around the foot of Mt. Asama, supporting a safe and enjoyable climb. Please participate with proper equipment, such as headlamps, warm clothing, easy-to-move-in clothes, and trekking shoes. The tour may be canceled depending on the weather, in which case notification will be provided by the evening before the event. As it may get chilly at night, thorough cold-weather preparation is necessary.
