About this event

"Shinano Oiwake Honmono Market" is an open-air market where people engaged in cultural activities such as arts and crafts, books, and music—mainly around the foot of Mt. Asama—gather to exhibit, sell their works, and stage performances. Reaching its 17th year in 2026, this event brings together vendors across diverse genres including arts and crafts, music, second-hand books, and food and beverages. About 30 stalls will open at the outdoor craft area in the front garden, 6 to 8 stalls in the food area, and 5 to 7 stalls will exhibit and sell works at the indoor venue (Gallery Isshin). Priority is given to exhibitors who liven up the venue by hosting workshops, making the unique creations and diverse lineup of vendors a key highlight. A live concert is also planned for one of the two days, making it an event where you can enjoy a pleasant autumn holiday.
