Hoshino Onsen Tombo no Yu "Apple Bath"

At Hoshino Onsen Tombo no Yu, the customary seasonal bath "Apple Bath" will be held. Enjoy a special moment of autumn enveloped in the aroma of apples spreading across the bathtub. The indoor bath, fragrant with cypress (hinoki), features a 7.6-meter-high ceiling and large windows, allowing you to relax while taking in a view where the pond and forest outside seem to merge into one. Every day during the period, approximately 300 apples fill the bathtub, wrapping bathers in a sweet and refreshing fragrance. In addition to varieties such as Fuji and Shinano Gold, some bruised apples that could not be shipped to market are also utilized, allowing you to fully enjoy the sweet scent along with the colorful gradation spreading across the bath water. Illuminations are also held during the autumn leaves season, making it an event where you can savor autumn in Shinshu while gazing at the trees colored by the season. Furthermore, apple-based drinks and sweets will appear at Cafe Hungry Spot during the period, and an "Apple Tent" and "Apple Marche" will be set up at Mominoki Square on Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15.
