About this event
As part of the "Nagano Prefecture Parent-Child Construction Festa 2026" held on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026, an experiential event for parents and children titled "Infiltrate the Giant Maintenance Factory! Solve the Mysteries of Construction Machinery!" will be held at the Chikuma City venue. At this event, participants can have fun learning through hands-on experience about the mechanisms and roles of construction machinery that cannot usually be seen. A wide variety of content designed to stimulate children's curiosity is prepared, including live demonstrations and quizzes on construction machinery, commemorative photo opportunities sitting in actual construction machines, and hands-on programs using high-pressure washers. It will be a valuable opportunity for parents and children to discover together the appeal and social role of the construction industry and deepen their learning.
