Sweet Potato Digging: New Resident Exchange Event

About this event

This is an exchange event held at the Chikuhoku Village Support Squad Hokuhoku Farm, bringing together new residents, local community members, those considering relocation, and anyone interested in Chikuhoku Village. Participants will dig sweet potatoes together in preparation for the roasted sweet potato event to be held in November. While it might not be a massive harvest, it offers a valuable opportunity to touch the soil, chat with others, and experience sweet potato digging. Harvested sweet potatoes can also be taken home as souvenirs. After harvesting, an optional tea time is provided for participants to interact pleasantly with one another. In case of rain, the date will be rescheduled for a later day.
