Held in the Araragi and Hirose districts along National Route 256, the Araragi-Hirose Craft Highway Festival is an event where you can experience the traditional crafts of Nagiso Town. Special sales and craft demonstrations of rokuro woodturning (designated as a national traditional craft) and Araragi Hinoki hats (a prefectural traditional craft) will be held. In addition, participating sponsor shops offer plenty of great perks, such as discounts on day-trip hot spring bathing and complimentary amazake. Why not spend an autumn day immersing yourself in the rich nature of Nagiso and the charm of traditional craftsmanship?
