"Delicious Autumn Flavors Festival 2026" will be held, offering a chance to savor the autumn delicacies of Asahi Village. At the venue, matsutake mushrooms and edible wild mushrooms from the Asahi Village Mushroom Research Group, various grapes from the Asahi Fruit Tree Club, and shiitake mushrooms from 1UP Mushroom Factory will be on sale. In addition, Kamiishi Shoten will offer matsutake rice limited to 50 servings, and Chisou Yoshihira will present brown sugar warabi mochi and homemade chirimen sansho (dried young sardines with Japanese pepper). The Asahi Village Tourism Association will provide Asahi borscht, sweet potatoes, peanuts, freshly harvested rice (Yudai 21), and oyaki made with sake lees and beets. Some items require advance reservations. Furthermore, a sake tasting of "Hachimoriyama" for those aged 20 and older who will not be driving, as well as a sampling event featuring sake lees oyaki and oyaki made with Asahi Village-grown beets, will be held concurrently. Visitors can fully enjoy flavors unique to this production region.
