Sakaki Universal Sports Festa 2026

About this event

Held in Sakaki Town, Nagano Prefecture, the "Sakaki Universal Sports Festa 2026" is an event where everyone can join and have fun together regardless of age or whether they have a disability. It aims to deepen interactions among participants through universal sports that anyone can easily enjoy, such as boccia, molkky, flying disc, and Struck Out. This year, a "Sign Language Booth" will also be set up to provide opportunities to communicate with more people through sign language demonstrations and hands-on experiences. Based on the Sign Language Ordinance, this festa is also positioned as part of efforts to promote understanding and dissemination of sign language. Participation is free of charge, and anyone is welcome to join freely. Event details can be confirmed on the separately distributed flyer.
