About this event
The hands-on event "Kayanotaira de Autumn Festival" will be held at Kayanotaira Plateau in Joshin'etsukogen National Park, Kijimadaira Village, Nagano Prefecture, where visitors can fully enjoy the nature of autumn. It is a day to feel autumn with your whole body amidst magnificent nature where virgin beech forests spread out. At the event, activities such as an autumn forest trail walk and climbing Mt. Kousha can be enjoyed. The trail walks will be held multiple times, and the mountain climb is scheduled to depart from the campsite and return in the afternoon. In addition, craft workshops such as making twig pencil straps and marionettes are prepared. For gourmet food, baked sweet potatoes, miso rice balls, sasa tea, roasted marshmallows, and complimentary soup will be served. The admission fee includes all activity fees, allowing free participation after registration. Advance reservation is not required, but bringing warm clothing is recommended.
