Shinano Town 70th Municipal Anniversary Ceremony (Time Capsule Unearthing)

Shinano Town will hold a commemorative ceremony to mark the milestone of its 70th municipal anniversary. On the day of the event, a time capsule unearthing ceremony buried 20 years ago will be held in the morning at 'Issa Furusato Square' in front of Kurohime Station. This time capsule contains essays and writings by former elementary and junior high school students expressing their 'feelings for the town and community.' The unearthed time capsule is scheduled to be opened during the afternoon commemorative ceremony to reveal the messages. The commemorative ceremony will also feature awards for municipal service and screenings of commemorative videos.
