The annual popular event "Sunomata Hideyoshi Success Festival" will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in Sunomata-cho, Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture. The venue covers the entire area of Sunomata Castle Ruins Park. A wide variety of programs are scheduled, including a warrior procession starting at 10:00 AM (canceled in case of rain), an opening ceremony, local traditional performing arts presentations, Sunomata taiko performances, and a grand bingo game. In addition, the Ogaki Commerce and Industry Festival "Rakuichi Rakuza" will be held concurrently at the venue, featuring food and drink bazaars operated by various organizations. Furthermore, a talk show by actor Tsutomu Takahashi, who plays Masakatsu Hachisuka in the NHK Taiga Drama "Toyotomi Kyodai!", is scheduled, drawing attention to what kind of stories he will share. As congestion is expected on the day, the use of public transportation is recommended. It is an event held once a year where you can feel the history.
