About this event
A Bon Odori dance will be held at Machi no Taiken Koryukan, located in a corner of the historic old townscape. This is an event where both local citizens and tourists can easily join in and dance to the traditional Hida Takayama folk song "Hida Yansa". The rhythm and dance steps are simple and easy to learn, and drop-in participation is very welcome. Why not enjoy dancing along to the music played by the shamisen? Festival stalls and food trucks that children love will also be present, providing a fun way to wrap up the end of summer.
