This event allows participants to learn about history, walk around mountain castles, and experience the charm of Hida's mountain castles. On the tour visiting two courses—"Kojima Castle" and "Furukawa Castle"—with a mountain castle guide, participants will walk through actual castle remains while learning the history and characteristics of each castle. The tour is intended for those who are confident in their physical fitness and capable of mountain hiking. Please participate in clothing and shoes suitable for mountain walking. In addition, a lecture will be given by Hitoshi Nakai, a leading authority on medieval and early modern castle research. The lecture will cover Hida castles ruled by the Anegakoji and Ema clans, incorporating the latest research findings. Take this opportunity to deeply experience the world of mountain castles woven by Hida's rich history and nature.
