Hida Kokufu Tenkomori Tour

This is a tour where you can fully enjoy the history, culture, and nature of Hida Kokufu by bus. Together with a local guide, you will visit places rarely visited under normal circumstances. You can specially tour the inside of "Ankokuji Temple Sutra Repository", the only National Treasure building in Hida, and "Kotojiguchi Kofun", the largest keyhole-shaped burial mound in the prefecture, which is normally closed to the public. You can deeply appreciate the charms of Kokufu while feeling the precious cultural properties and the breath of history. In autumn, you can also enjoy the autumn leaves at Utsue 48 Waterfalls (Utsue Yonjuhachi Taki). The tour also includes a unique Hida "torafugu (tiger pufferfish) lunch" and souvenirs, allowing you to savor the charms of Kokufu throughout the day. Because travel is by bus, you can leisurely tour sightseeing spots without worrying about planning routes or driving yourself. As association staff and local volunteer guides provide guidance, being able to touch upon the charms of Kokufu more deeply through interaction with local people is also the real pleasure of this tour.
