Wanouchi Kei-Truck Morning Market is a market held in Wanouchi Town, Gifu Prefecture, mainly selling fresh morning-harvested vegetables by local farmers. The mini-trucks and mini-vans, arranged in a square layout, are packed with a wide variety of vegetables grown with great care. The real pleasure is hearing about cultivars and nutrition directly from the vendors themselves, or learning unexpected cooking methods. Gentle, healthy side dishes prepared on the day by a registered dietitian are also popular every time. The irregularly held Osagari Market (hand-me-down market), where outgrown children's clothing and toys are offered at reasonable prices, has also become a hot topic. With stalls from outside the town as well, a diverse lineup including miscellaneous goods and bread can be enjoyed. Fun events are also regularly planned, such as the Anniversary Festival in April and the Year-End Appreciation Festival in December.
