About this event
'Kambara Festival' is an annual summer event held in the Kambara district of Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City. In the main event, the grand Bon Odori dance, local residents surround the yagura scaffold and perform lively dances. The venue also features a live stage, an evening market, and a grand raffle, making it a summer festival that can be enjoyed across generations, from children to adults. It will proceed in rain, but will be cancelled in severe weather.
