Set in the downtown area of Shizuoka City, the hands-on festival "Shizuoka Daisuki Matsuri" will be held to experience the charm of Shizuoka. Celebrating its 3rd edition this year, this event is organized primarily by a music producer from Shizuoka City, coloring the town with diverse content including a market gathering Shizuoka gourmet foods, participatory sports experiences, Yosakoi dance performances, high school dance performances, and talk stages. Furthermore, there are plenty of events day and night, ranging from idol live shows and musicals to a late-night ghost story event. In this energetic "town festival" created in unity by businesses, students, and local residents, diverse programs will be presented, such as the "Shizuoka Daisuki Marche" gathering Shizuoka food, beverages, retail, and workshops; "Sports Experience Projects" enjoyable for everyone from children to adults; the "Fudanotsuji Stage" featuring guest talk shows, food reporting, and raffles; the "Shizuoka MIRAI Stage" where students, community groups, and companies perform dances and PR; the "Shizuoka High School Dance Festival 2026" by local high school dance clubs; the dynamic "Shizuoka Yosakoi"; the "Station Front Project" themed on sports festivals and culture festivals; "YOKOSO! SHIZUOKA & Special Live" featuring live performances by gorgeous idol groups and theatrical accompaniment concerts; and an adult-oriented night project "Ghost Story Event" featuring professional ghost storytellers and TV personalities. At the ASTY Shizuoka venue, visitors can also enjoy pro wrestler talk events, a comedy stage by sumo comedian Akatsu, a bodybuilding special stage, a special stage by impressionist comedian "JP", a collaboration stage with fishbowl, soccer talk shows, the "ShiziU" show by freelance announcers, a special dialogue between a composer and an illustrator, live drawing, and the latest display exhibitions. At the venue, more than 10 varieties of craft beers, appetizers focusing on Shizuoka specialties, and sweets will also be on sale.
