53rd Numazu City Arts Festival

About this event

The 53rd Numazu City Arts Festival is a major event where citizens present the results of their regular practice, ranging from artwork exhibitions such as calligraphy, contemporary ikebana flower arrangement, and fine arts exhibitions, to diverse stage performances including a choir festival, autumn ball, ballet performance, theater festival, local community taiko drumming, traditional Japanese music festival, music square, Kleine Musik concert, Nihon buyo (classical Japanese dance) festival, and Shin-buyo festival. The opening ceremony will be held on Sunday, October 4, at the Civic Cultural Center, and the closing ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 22, in Plaza Verde Convention Hall B. It is an opportunity to thoroughly enjoy dedicated works and stage performances by citizens in an autumn filled with arts and culture. While some performances charge a fee, many exhibitions can be enjoyed free of charge. The photography exhibition has been canceled.
