The 'Numazu Autumn Festival: Main Festival' will be held, featuring the grand revival of Numazu's Bon Odori and bringing together a wide variety of dances. From the North Exit of Numazu Station to Kiramesse Numazu, various dance teams active inside and outside the city will showcase their respective charms. A diverse array of artists—from traditional dances to modern street dance and musical performances—will gather to deliver a special stage. In the opening ceremony, the venue will be enlivened with the theme of Numazu's traditional Bon dance 'Numazu Furusato no Machi.' Brilliant dance performances scheduled include cheer dance, hula dance, theme park dance, and ballet. In the street and music culture section, hip-hop dance and more will be showcased. Furthermore, various regional dance teams will brighten the stage. In the traditional performing arts and local dance section, there is also an open-participation corner where everyone can dance together to 'Heda Bon Odori,' 'Mishima Nohei-bushi,' and 'Nagaizumi Wakuwaku Odori.' For the finale, 'Saigo no Yokoso' (Final Welcome) will be performed by the Japanese Dance and Dance Federation, bringing the event to an emotionally moving conclusion. The main festival will be held on Monday (national holiday), November 23.
