12th Self-Defense Forces Interaction Festival in Mt. Fuji Juku no Mori

The "12th Self-Defense Forces Interaction Festival" will be held at Mt. Fuji Juku no Mori in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Participating units include the JGSDF Fuji School, Camp Itazuma, Camp Komakado, Camp Takigahara, and the Shizuoka Provincial Cooperation Office, offering various exhibitions and hands-on experiences. Visitors can view and photograph SDF vehicles, including the Type 16 Maneuver Combat Vehicle and the Patria AMV wheeled armored vehicle. In addition, free distribution of tonjiru (pork miso soup) prepared with the Outdoor Cooking Set Type 1 (Kai) (limited to 1,000 servings) and test rides in High Mobility Vehicles will be conducted. On the stage, enjoy performances by the Camp Itazuma Bugle Corps, the Fuji School Band, and a special guest live performance by Orange Leaf. The event will also feature helicopter interior tours, SDF public relations booths, food and beverage sales by food trucks, and sales of welfare products by nearby sheltered workshops, offering a full day of interaction between the Self-Defense Forces and local residents.
