Shibai no Takarabako 2026

About this event

The performing arts project "Shibai no Takarabako 2026," hosted by the Department of Drama and Dance at Tamagawa University's College of Arts, will be held as a touring performance in Shimoda City. This performance is organized as a 10th anniversary project commemorating the comprehensive partnership agreement between Tamagawa University and Shimoda City. Students practically handle everything from production to performance management, deepening exchanges with local residents through the performing arts. This year, three works are scheduled to be staged: "General Bananan and the Candy Medal," "Carry Me Away, Peter Pan," and "Black Cat Sangoro." Students have wholeheartedly created performing arts that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
