River Station Izu Joyama 3rd Anniversary Event: SUP & Kayak Experience on Kano River

About this event

An event where you can experience SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) and kayaking while feeling the beautiful nature of the Kano River. Surrounded by rich nature recognized for its clean water quality, you can enjoy a stroll on the water while viewing the vast scenery of Mount Joyama along the Kano River. Beginners are very welcome. The SUP experience is open to junior high school students and older for single-rider boards. For kayaks, 2-seater kayaks are open to participants aged 3 and older (adult accompaniment required), and 1-seater kayaks are open to 4th-grade elementary school students and older. As an event special price, the experience is available for 2,000 yen per person. Multiple time slots are available: 9:50-10:45, 10:50-11:45, 12:50-13:45, or 13:50-14:45. Registration on the day takes place on a rolling basis starting at 9:30, but reservations take priority. Same-day registration is accepted if slots are available. As an exclusive benefit, participants will receive a 1,000 yen OFF discount coupon usable on Kayak Tapa's "Kano River Sakura Park to Kannami River Station Course." After the session, it is a great chance to enjoy the Kano River even further on SUP or kayak. Please participate in clothes that are easy to move in and okay to get wet, and bring a change of clothes (changing rooms are not available).
