Held in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, 'Kirari Festival 2026' is an autumn festival hosted by two miso breweries, 'Kakuq' and 'Maruya', which have been making Hatcho Miso since the early Edo period. At both venues, visitors can enjoy soybean-carrying games and a miso brewery quiz rally with chances to win luxurious prizes. The Kakuq venue features rock-paper-scissors tournaments with Okazaemon, all-you-can-scoop miso, outlet miso sales, and gourmet foods such as miso croquettes and miso soft-serve ice cream. The Maruya venue offers special miso brewery tours guided by the company president, a 'Step inside a wooden barrel!' photo op, bingo tournaments, and workshops such as the 'Misomaru' instant miso ball-making experience. As crowds are expected on the day, using public transportation is recommended.
