About this event
The "Setomono Festival" is one of Japan's largest ceramic events, gathering many people from across the country since 1932 (Showa 7). At the main "Setomono Bargain Market," approximately 200 pottery shops line the Seto River, offering abundant opportunities to discover exquisite ceramic masterpieces. On the first day of the festival, approximately 1,000 fireworks beautifully illuminate the autumn night sky, adding splendor to the event. The continuous launches condensed into approximately 20 minutes, including size-3 shells and starmines, captivate visitors with a powerful display. Both pottery enthusiasts and beginners alike are sure to find a favorite piece.
