About this event
The "25th Junior Shogi Tournament" held at the Chiryu City Chuo Civic Center is a tournament for elementary and junior high school students residing in the city or engaging in shogi activities within the city. The tournament will run from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and participation prizes are prepared for all participants. Certificates and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The tournament is divided into two divisions: Lower and Middle Elementary School Division (Grades 1–4) and Upper Elementary (Grades 5–6) & Junior High School Division, with a capacity of 16 participants per division. Applications can be submitted via the designated application form from Saturday, October 3 to Sunday, October 18, 2026 (Reiwa 8). Participation is free of charge.
