Play Disaster Prep & Learn Disaster Prep in Takahama is an event where participants can learn about disaster preparedness while having fun. Held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at T-Port, attendees can experience the proper use of emergency toilets during disasters, effective hand-washing methods with limited water, checking dangerous spots and evacuation sites around their homes using Takahama City's hazard map, experiencing the horror of earthquakes through VR, and living in an actual evacuation shelter simulation. Additionally, there is a corner to learn how to use water fire extinguishers. Held with the cooperation of the certified NPO Rescue Stock Yard, those who complete the entire stamp rally will receive a commemorative gift (disaster prevention goods). No advance registration is required, and admission is free. This event provides an excellent opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to prepare for unforeseen disasters while having fun, and can also serve as a trigger for families to discuss disaster prevention.
