Vantelin Tokai Classic

About this event

The Vantelin Tokai Classic, a historic golf tournament continuing since 1970, will be held at the Miyoshi Country Club West Course in Miyoshi City, Aichi Prefecture. The total prize purse is 110 million yen, with a winner's prize of 22 million yen. While it is usually held from late September to early October, the timing in 2026 has been changed due to the Asian Games. The 16th hole, boasting one of the tour's highest levels of difficulty, is called the "Demon Par 3" and is drawing attention as a crucial hole that determines the championship race. As no player has achieved back-to-back victories across the past 55 tournaments, expectations are high for the previous year's winner's performance. As the season nears its end, the battle for the annual championship is also expected to heat up.
