Special Exhibition: Conversing with Generative AI

About this event

In this exhibition, five artists engage with generative AI from their respective perspectives, presenting experimental works. Through diverse forms of dialogue such as utilization, rejection, affirmation, and coexistence with AI, the exhibition explores AI's potential as a new tool for creation as well as the numerous questions it raises regarding authorship, creativity, intellectual property, and the nature of labor. Serving as a practical space to collectively reflect on the relationship between evolving technology and human creativity, visitors can encounter new expressions and values born from continuously engaging with generative AI—utilizing, occasionally questioning, and critiquing it—rather than presenting definitive conclusions on debates surrounding AI. In artist talks, speakers will reflect on what generative AI brings to us and consider the future of artistic practice in the era of generative AI while actually working with AI.
