"Kuwana Commerce and Industry Festival 2026" and "Kuwana Historical Festival" will be held simultaneously at Kakiyasu City Hall. At the Kuwana Commerce and Industry Festival, local shops and goods from Kuwana gather in one place to showcase the appeal of regional industries through product exhibitions and sales. Food trucks, dining stalls, local product booths, and various hands-on activity booths will be set up, alongside exhibits of working vehicles, a children's fair, kids' dance performances, a children's bingo tournament, a Kuwana origami crane workshop, and a puzzle-solving stamp rally. The Kuwana Historical Festival features activities celebrating Kuwana's history and culture, including a special lecture by historian Yu Hirayama titled "Hideyoshi vs. Ieyasu: The Final Battleground 'Kuwana'." There are also plans for a dress-up experience transforming kids into Princess Sen or samurai warriors, as well as history-themed stage programs. Packed with activities for parents and children to enjoy together, this event lets you experience the region's charm all in one day.
