SHIGA SMILE FESTA 2026

About this event

"SHIGA SMILE FESTA 2026" will be held at the Festival Plaza of PROCEED ARENA HIKONE in Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture. Based on the theme of "Working, Learning, Playing, and Eating," this community exchange event can be enjoyed all day by the whole family, from children to adults. Working vehicles such as police cars, police motorcycles, ambulances, and fire trucks are scheduled to appear at the venue, and construction-related vehicles will also be on display. Packed with activities for parents and children to enjoy, the event features the "Children's Fair & Kids' Booth" backed by the Niji no Ouchi Nursery School, a market planned with over 30 stalls, gourmet and food booths, kitchen cars, and workshops. On stage, performances such as dance, taiko drumming, and music by local organizations and schools are also scheduled. In addition, "Mrs of the Year SHIGA 2026" will be held concurrently, aiming for a festival that leads to new encounters with local people, jobs, and activities while enjoying seeing, playing, eating, and experiencing all in one venue.
