About this event

Organized by the Hikone Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division, "Hikone Castle Mirai Festival 2026" is an event aimed at raising citizens' interest in promoting Hikone Castle's registration as a World Heritage site. On the day, "Castle Play Booths" will be set up for families to enjoy, including the "Castle Crossword" where participants can solve mysteries about Hikone Castle for a chance to win tickets to a Reilac Shiga FC match, kick bowling, target shooting, and a "Castle Quiz Contest" with luxurious prizes. The participation fee is 500 yen. In addition, in the evening, a Reilac Shiga FC match will be held at Heiwado HATO Stadium as a World Heritage Registration Support Match, where citizens will unite to cheer on the team. Stage appearances by Hikonyan and messages supporting the World Heritage registration of Hikone Castle are also scheduled, making it an opportunity for citizens to unite toward the World Heritage registration of Hikone Castle.
