About this event
Held in Kora Town, Shiga Prefecture, "Kora Autumn Festival" is a lively autumn festival featuring tent stalls by local residents and attractions such as Yosakoi dance, Goshu Ondo dance, and raffles. On the occasion of the town's 70th anniversary, the summer festival that had been canceled due to the impact of the new coronavirus was resumed as an "Autumn Festival." Performance by Saxophone Samurai is also scheduled at the venue, offering two 30-minute performances at 12:25 and 14:20. The venue is the parking lot next to Kora Town Office (parking lot in front of Kora Town Community Center), and admission is free. Furthermore, Zaishi, where the venue is located, is known as the birthplace of Sengoku warlord Todo Takatora, allowing visitors to experience the town's history alongside the festival. The event may be canceled in the event of rain or strong winds.
