Double the Delight Music Concert

Double the Delight Concert will be held at Kyoto Prefectural Tango Cultural Hall in Mineyama-cho, Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture. In this concert, the Kyoto Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and soprano Misato Minami will perform numerous famous songs cherished across generations. With the theme Nostalgic Movie Music and Japanese Songs, Part 1, titled A Page of Youth Revived with Sweet Memories, features masterpiece film music such as East of Eden, Limelight, Around the World in 80 Days, Sunflower, Purple Noon, Theme from Rocky, and selections from The Phantom of the Opera. Part 2, titled From School Songs to Nostalgic Hits, presents Japanese songs including Furusato, Kojo no Tsuki, Ue o Muite Aruko, Kawa no Nagare no Yoni, and Ii Hi Tabidachi. Enjoy a heartwarming concert where you can savor beloved songs you will want to hum along with, through the rich resonance unique to a chamber orchestra.
