About this event
Held at the Yosano Town Lifelong Learning Center Chiyukan, "A Gentle Time of Song and Cinema" provides a special moment wrapped in gentle stories and songs. In this event, held as part of Kyoto Prefecture's Human Rights Awareness "Creating Diverse Opportunities" project, you can listen to a talk on peace and life by Megumi Ayukawa, lyricist of the human rights awareness theme song. In addition, a heartwarming mini-concert will be held by jazz singer and former Gion Kobu geiko MAKOTO, joined by the Yosano Children's Choir Angel Harmony to sing "Sekai ga Hitotsu no Kazoku no Yoni" (Like the World is One Family) together. There will also be a screening of the movie "TOKYO Taxi" starring Takuya Kimura and Chieko Baisho, allowing you to enjoy a touching story on the big screen. Admission is free and no application is required. Anyone can easily participate and share gentle feelings through creating diverse opportunities.
