Sakai City Agricultural Festival 2026

About this event

The Sakai City Agricultural Festival is an event where producers celebrate the bountiful autumn harvest, widely introduce agriculture in Sakai City to citizens, and deepen their understanding and awareness of agriculture. Starting with the 'Toretore Ichi' market selling Sakai-grown agricultural products (vegetables, mikan mandarin oranges, etc.) produced by local farmers, there will also be sales of a flower market and Sakai's traditional local products. At the 51st Sakai City Agricultural Festival in 2026 (Reiwa 8), in addition to sales of farm and traditional products, large tractor exhibitions and food and drink booths using Sakai-produced agricultural products 'Sakai no Megumi' will be featured. In addition, demonstration runs of cutting-edge agricultural machinery will be conducted using 'KATR', the same model displayed at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. Character shows, a stamp rally, and a quiz rally will also be held at the venue, making it an event that families can enjoy. At the sub-venue, visitors can also enjoy direct sales and food and drinks provided by 'Sakai no Megumi' producers.
