2nd SDGs Workshop: "Inagawa River Nature Observation Gathering"
Japanese name:第2回 SDGsワークショップ「猪名川自然観察会」
📅 Sun, Oct 4, 2026
About this event
Focusing on "Goal 15: Life on Land," one of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), this workshop welcomes an instructor from the Itami City Museum of Insects and aims to provide environmental education to children through interaction with nature. Through nature observation, this SDGs workshop allows participants to learn about various insects inhabiting the local ecosystem and deepen their understanding of the importance of nature and environmental protection. Nature observation will take place at Gomibukuro Hill inside Clean Land and along the nearby Inagawa Riverbanks. In case of rain, the format will change to listening to talks indoors while viewing insects. The event is open to participants aged 5 and older (those of elementary school age and younger must be accompanied by a guardian), with priority given to residents of Toyonaka City and Itami City. Participants need to bring bug catching nets, insect cages, water bottles, hats, gloves, long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and comfortable walking shoes.
