About this event
Held in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture, "Ikiteyuku Fes 2026" is an event promoting the appeal of social welfare and nursing care. Marking its 23rd edition counting from the Ikii Ki Choju Fair, the festival aims to make nursing care and welfare feel more familiar and accessible through hands-on experiences and fun activities. It will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 10:00 to 15:00, across multiple venues including the Toyonaka City Community Co-existence Center and the Okamachi/Sakurazuka Shopping Streets. A diverse range of content is prepared to ensure enjoyment not only for seniors and welfare/care professionals, but also for families and young generations. Attracting over 1,000 visitors every year, it serves as a community-rooted hub for interaction. The event is organized via an open executive committee involving students, civic groups, businesses, care providers, and local government, with this collaborative process being one of its core appeals. Initiatives such as calling for poster models also encourage broad local participation.
