About this event
A tour where you can see the exhibition of the Machikanewani (Toyotamaphimeia machikanensis) crocodile fossil, which was designated as a National Natural Monument in September 2025. Starting from Hankyu Ishibashi-handai-mae Station, participants will walk to Hankyu Toyonaka Station via the Osaka University Museum, the excavation site of the Machikanewani fossil, Kitadani Well, Joraku-ji and Shoan-ji Temples, the Asada Domain Jin'ya Gate, and Inari Shrine. You can experience the local history and culture while listening to explanations from volunteer guides who know the local area well. Capacity is 20 people, and advance application with a lottery selection is required.
