Kyushu Umakamon Gourmet Fair

The Kyushu Umakamon Fair will be held at Keihan Department Store Moriguchi in Moriguchi City, Osaka Prefecture. At this event, exquisite gourmet foods from all over Kyushu will gather in one place, allowing visitors to enjoy them over 6 days. From Kokutei, a popular ramen shop in Kumamoto, Kokutei Ramen featuring fragrant roast garlic oil (ma-yu) will make an appearance. From Nagasaki, luxurious Premium Hon-maguro Rice Bowls using bluefin tuna from Tsushima will be sold through live cooking demonstrations. In addition, from Kairodo in Saga, which achieved a 3-peat championship at the Kyushu Ekiben Grand Prix, the Saga Beef Lean Steak & Sukiyaki Bento will be available to showcase its excellence. Furthermore, a rich lineup of delicious specialties full of regional charm will be offered, including Nagasaki braised pork belly buns (kakuni manju), rich soft-serve ice cream made with sweet potatoes from the Goto Islands, and Hakata mentaiko baguettes. At the venue, not only freshly prepared delicacies but also famous side dishes perfect for souvenirs will be on sale. It is an event where you can fully enjoy the bounties of Kyushu, perfect for the autumn appetite.
