Connecting the Yodo River: Tokaido 57 Post Towns Festa in Hirakata

This event brings together the charms of the 57 post towns of the Tokaido (Fushimi, Yodo, Hirakata, Moriguchi, Koraibashi) that once connected people and goods traveling along the Yodo River. At the venue, there will be food and drink corners hosted by kitchen cars gathering from various regions, along with sales of famous confectionery, alcoholic beverages, accessories, general goods, and more. In addition, a Bon Odori dance hosted by Stardust Kawachi will be held, with plans for all participants to dance together to the "Tokaido 57 Post Towns Reverse Pilgrimage Song" and Hirakata Bon Odori songs. It will be a day where you can not only learn about history but also feel the connection between the post towns through music and dance. It is an event with a wide variety of ways to enjoy, ranging from gourmet food and shopping to cultural experiences.
