About this event
Come and observe the real starry sky with your own eyes and through telescopes. Organized by the Kitashin Planetarium, this event will be held on the 1st-floor lawn plaza on Sunday, August 23, 2026 (Reiwa 8), from 20:00 to 21:00. On the day of the event, two telescopes for visual observation will be set up, allowing you to observe the Moon, Venus, Albireo, and more. An electronic observation system will also be available to view objects such as the Ring Nebula and the globular cluster in Canes Venatici. Please note that the event will be cancelled in case of rain or cloudy weather. Please dress appropriately considering insect bites and temperatures. Telescopes are provided, but no lectures will be given. Anyone can participate for free, and no reservation is required.
