About this event
The "49th Yao Kawachi Ondo Festival" will be held in Yao City, Osaka Prefecture. As a major event in Yao, the birthplace of Kawachi Ondo, it will enliven the region again this year. The main venues will be Yao Elementary School, LINOAS, and Kintetsu Yao Station Front Plaza, and the "Kawachi Ondo Grand Prix," where groups parade and dance to Kawachi Ondo music, will also be held. Participating groups must consist of 30 or fewer people, and participation is free. Sponsoring companies are also being recruited, and it is expected to be a lively festival coloring autumn in Yao. At the Miseruba Yao venue, hands-on craft workshops, traditional festival game stalls, and limited merchandise sales will be held, making it an event that the whole family can enjoy.
