About this event
Hosted by Yao Toyo Juki Co., Ltd., the "Disaster Prevention & SDGs Festa 2026: See, Experience, and Prepare" is a large-scale experiential event aiming to transform disaster prevention and SDGs from "scary" to "fun and useful," creating an opportunity to connect our hearts with the region's future. It will be held simultaneously across two venues—the Yao Office and the Techno Heart Center—on Saturday, November 7, 2026. At Venue 1 (Yao Office), realistic disaster preparedness experience booths offering AED and flood simulations, a shopping pavilion featuring fair trade and handmade goods, and food experience booths with items such as zenzai (sweet red bean soup) and canned bread will be set up. At Venue 2 (Techno Heart Center), visitors can enjoy toy drone flight experiences, a blood donation bus, the "Exciting Disaster Prevention Quest!" for game-style learning (spotting hazards, assembling emergency backpacks, riddle-solving quiz rally, etc.), food experience booths serving pork miso soup and fresh mochi pounding, and a charity live stage by the Yao High School Wind Orchestra and a children's choir. Admission is free.
